In Andean workshops 5000 km above sea level, 50 self organized artisans work in small groups to employ traditional knitting techniques inherited from our rich local history. The artisans are highly skilled in the art of knitting with palito. The groups are often community based and are organized by local leaders who are responsible for communicating and following the status of knitting orders.
The artisans are supported and guided by a professional team in design, production, management, and quality control areas. With the guidance of these teams, our artisans create wares integrating the team's assessments and guidance in social, environmental, and commercial issues. International designers then assist them in making classical knitting stitches to convert them into contemporary luxury pieces.
